Privacy Policy Statement for San Antonio Job Network

astutia.com has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: San Antonio Job Network (htty://www.sajobnet.com).

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site.

Our site uses ColdFusion session variables to keep track of your user profile. ColdFusion session variables use two cookies (CFID and CFTOKEN) to keep track of your session variables (which get stored only in the server's memory during your session). These are the only two cookies that get set while you are using the SA JOB NET and they persist only as long as you are logged on. We use these session variables to deliver content specific to your interests during your user session. Since your userid and password aren't stored in cookies, you will need to re-enter them each time you visit our site.

Our site's profile registration form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address), but we do not use unique identifiers (like their social security number). The customer's contact information is used to contact the visitor when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. Unique identifiers (such as social security numbers) are not collected to verify the user's identity or for other purposes. We expect people using this service to provide accurate information per the Terms of Service.

This site contains links to other sites. San Antonio Job Network is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

Our site uses forms for job hunters to enter their private profile information and apply to job openings provided by employers. We also use forms for employers to enter their company profile information and request information about our services or to pay for posting job openings (after the grand opening launch promotion period is over). We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address) and financial information from employers (like their account or credit card numbers). Contact information from a job opening submission form is used to send order or billing information to employers after they post a job. The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. Financial information that is collected from employers is used to bill them for services. WE DO NOT, EVER, SELL YOUR INFORMATION TO ANYONE ELSE.

While we do not current make use of surveys on the SA JOB NET, we may implement this feature at some point in the future. If implemented, the online surveys may ask visitors for contact information (like their email address) and demographic information (like their zip code, age, or income level). Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. If surveys are implemented in the future, demographic and profile data may also be collected at our site. If this is done, we may use this data to tailor our visitor's experience at our site, showing them content that we think they might be interested in, and displaying the content according to their preferences.

Public Forums

In the future, this site will make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Access to information stored in our databases is password controlled and only our web site administrator has access to that information. Financial data collected from employers posting job openings is strictly controlled and used only for billing purposes. Credit card information provided by employers when paying for job postings are not stored in our customer records. Credit card information is entered only after making a secure connection with AuthorizeNet's web site.
